Delhi Police compromising CM’s security by giving out detailed deployment plan in media
Police Commissioner behaving like BJP’s man, should not resort to spreading falsehood
In a deliberate attempt to compromise Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s security, Delhi Police officials are planting stories in a section of media and giving out detailed deployment plan. Addressing a press conference, Delhi State Convenor Dilip Pandey said,” Instead of issuing political statements, Delhi Police Commissioner Bhim Sen Bassi should take responsibility for security breach at Chhatrasal stadium.”
Dilip Pandey said,”Delhi Police officials are planting stories in a section of media that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Assistant had told the policemen on security to get off the stage and take all the policemen on duty away from the stage. It’s a blatant lie to shirk responsibility. I would request the Delhi Police commissioner Bhim Sen Bassi to name the police officer and CM’s PA. Security covers are not lowered on such instructions. Delhi Police officers are planting false stories to save their skin.”
Talking about the incident of ink attack at Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues, Dilip Pandey said, “if Delhi Police Commissioner is not competent to provide security to a crowd of few thousand people in a public function, how can he be entrusted with the security of a city like Delhi?” Pandey also said that Delhi Police officers were deliberately leaking out details of CM’s security deployment to the press to compromise his security and make him vulnerable. Delhi Police Commissioner will be responsible for any untoward incident in the future because its his team which leaked the security deployment details. “It’s been done on behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who directly controls Delhi Police,” added Pandey.
