Okay, so you might not want to live forever, because that might get a bit tiresome. But what should we be eating for breakfast if we want a long lasting, healthy life?

Well, a shitload of stuff, if you're listening to this guy. Ray Kurzweil is an American scientist and futurist, and he's pretty bloody convinced that in a matter of years humans will be doing silly things like living forever.

Seriously, back in 2009 in one of his books, he wrote: "I and many other scientists now believe that in around 20 years we will have the means to reprogramme our bodies' stone-age software so we can halt, then reverse, ageing. Then nanotechnology will let us live for ever."

But we're going to need to look after these bodies of ours if that's going to happen. Just like Ray does. So how do we get the day off to a good start? A big, fuck-off breakfast, by the sounds of it.

Ray, who despite being aged 67, insists he has the "biological age" of a late forty-something, likes to rack up the calories first thing in the morning. Here's what he eats every single day

Berries, dark chocolate infused with espresso, smoked salmon and mackerel, vanilla soy milk, stevia (a sugar substitute), porridge and green tea.

God, you'd think you'd be full after the chocolate coffee. According to Business Insider, Ray's breakfast diet is around 700 calories, more than a third of a woman's recommended daily intake. Which, actually, if you think about that fact that you're supposed to eat three meals a day, makes perfect sense.

So there you have it; that's what you'd have to eat if you wanted to live forever. You'd probably have to invest in some hefty scientific research and maybe also a time machine while you're at it, but we're not going to argue with the scientist.
