Man faces drug charges after police get overdose call

ROCHESTER — A 22-year-old Rochester man is facing drug charges after police and emergency medical personnel responded to a call early this morning of an overdose in a vehicle.

Hector Guzman of Beauview Street in Rochester has been charged with: felony level possession of controlled drugs (heroin); possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute; falsifying physical evidence; and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled drug (marijuana).

Police said the emergency call for the reported overdose came in at 1:25 a.m. Rochester police and Frisbie Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Service responded to Rochester Crossing at 160 Washington St. where they found Guzman.

Guzman is being held at the Strafford County Jail on $5,000 cash bail with a  court date today to appear in the 7th Circuit Court of Rochester for an arraignment.
