Two Minnesota men were arrested by the FBI Tuesday for allegedly planning to fight with ISIS terrorists in Syria, according to reports.

Abdullah Yusuf, 28, was arrested near his residence in Inver Grove Heights, and was slated to be arraigned in Minneapolis Federal Court Tuesday afternoon, according to My Fox 9.

Abdi Nur, 20, was also collared and charged in absentia because he is already believed to be fighting alongside terrorists in Syria. He also helped Yusuf make the travel arrangements, according to the charges.

Officials were able to intercept Yusuf over the summer at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, where he was allegedly going to catch a flight to Turkey.

The FBI became alerted to Yusuf’s questionable travel plans when a passport agent noticed that he was flying alone, with no family or financial means.

The feds started monitoring him, while he was still a student at Heritage Academy Charter School in Minneapolis.

Yusuf testified before a grand jury earlier this year among a group of a dozen young, purpoted terrorist sympathizers who left Minnesota to fight for with the militants.

Meanwhile, a Somali journalist said he had photos of the young men from the Twin Cities who are fighting for Al Qaeda-affiliate al-Nusra. He claimed to have photographed one of the converted terrorists holding a Koran with what appears to be a suicide bomb strapped to his chest.
