The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Kingston

* Endangering/criminal contempt: Christopher R. Blagbrough, 26, of Elmendorf Street, was arrested by Kingston police at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on Elmendorf Street and charged with the felony of criminal contempt and the misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration and the violation of possession of marijuana. The arrest followed a reported domestic complaint after which an investigation found Blagbrough violated a “no harass” order of protection. He was alleged to have broken several items in the residence and knocked a hole in a wall in the presence of a 16-month-old child. Police said Blagbrough became uncooperative during their investigation and attempted to leave the area, resulting in the obstruction charge. Blagbrough was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Plattekill

* DWAI-drugs: Kate E. Cleveland, 24, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:28 a.m. Wednesday on Quaker Street in Plattekill and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Cleveland was released with a ticket for Plattekill Town Court.

Red Hook

* Shoplifting: Madeline C. Mangiaracina, 22, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy, 35 Hannaford Dr., in the town of Red Hook and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Mangiaracina was released with a ticket for Red Hook Town Court.

Livingston

* Burglary: Martin Rollins, 26, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Livingston on Tuesday and charged with burglary, a felony. Rollins’ arrest followed an October 2014 report of a burglary at Traditions Linen on U.S. Route 9 in Livingston, police said. After a lengthy investigation, Rollins was identified using DNA evidence recovered from the scene, they said. Rollins was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
