Kingston Community Radio to celebrate 13th anniversary

KINGSTON >> Kingston Community Radio will celebrate its 13th anniversary as a public broadcasting operation, airing on WGHQ (920AM), on Feb. 21.

The public is invited to attend an annual get together at the Spring Lake Fire House on Lucas Avenue in the town of Ulster between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The Spring Lake Fire Department will be catering a brunch.

Seating is limited and listeners are urged to call (845) 331-1004 to reserve a space. Reservations can also be made by emailing kcr921@gmail.com. Brunch will be served for $6.

Kingston Community Radio is a listener supported. In 2014 listeners donated over $34,100 to keep the station on the air.

Underwriters helped the station with $36,400 in support.

Kingston Community Radio airs each weekday morning between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
