Athens
* DWI: Micheal F. Locasio, 49, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Kingston at 12:15 a.m. Sunday at 3374 state Route 28 on misdemeanor charges of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08 percent and drunken driving. He was released on tickets for Olive Town Court.
Cairo
* Theft: Elizabeth Decamp, 45, Joseph G. White, 26, and Paul E. Gottliebe, 20, all of Cairo, were arrested by state police at Catskill at the Catskill Barracks on Sunday at 1:41 a.m. Each was charged with a felony burglary count and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance. Further information was unavailable.
Town of Ulster: James Burns, 33, of the town of Ulster, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office on state Route 28 on Sunday at 1:17 a.m. on a misdemeanor charge of driving while ability impaired and the violation of marijuana possession. Burns was also charged with the infraction of failure to maintain lane. Police said a vehicle driven by Burns was traveling westbound on Route 28 when they noticed it was continuously swerving. Authorities said when they stopped the car, they found Burns to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Burns was released on appearance tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court on Jan. 14.
Wawarsing
* Mischief: Marcell A. Oquendo, 18, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ellenville on U.S. Route 209 on Saturday at 6:50 p.m. on a felony charge of criminal mischief. Oquendo was released on tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
* Shoplifiting: Kim Caston, 39, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at the Walmart store at 7500 U.S. Route 209 on Saturday at 3 p.m. on a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. Caston was released on tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
* Shoplifiting: Eugene F. Morton, 20, and Douglas J. Melka, 24, both of Woodbourne, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at the Walmart store at 7500 U.S. Route 209 Saturday at 5 p.m. Each was charged with a misdemeanor count of petit larceny. They were both released on tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
