It’s the season of gratitude and a number of hip-hop’s heavyweight acts have been busy giving back to the communities that have supported their careers this week.
From Snoop Dogg to Fetty Wap, here are five stars making a difference this Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving 2015 Playlist: Feast & Listen
Snoop Dogg gave out more than 1,500 turkeys to families in need in his “second home” of Inglewood, Calif., and promised to do this every year.
Chris Brown spread some holiday cheer around Queens, N.Y., on Wednesday, helping hand out 2,000 turkeys to families who needed them. He posted on Instagram, “I honestly challenge the celebrities. We think about ourselves all the time and take everything for granted. Driving nice cars, jewelry, pretending to be something we aren’t. Let’s give back because it’s the right thing to do.”

Big Sean hosted his Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive in Detroit on Tuesday with his Sean Anderson Foundation, giving away more than 2,000 turkeys with sides to his hometown.
Fetty Wap returned to his hometown of Paterson, N.J., to hand out about 250 turkeys to the city’s tough 4th Ward on Wednesday. That wasn’t the “Trap Queen” star’s only charitable act this week. On Saturday, he threw $2,000 over the balcony for shoppers at Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, N.J.
Cash Money gave back to its New Orleans hometown Tuesday with co-founders Ronald “Slim” Williams and Brian “Baby” Williams on hand to pass out more than 2,500 turkeys. The annual event also offered free health screenings.
