ATMOSFERE
Credo debba essere molto frustrante scoprire o come in questo caso, certificare, l'approssimarsi di una catastrofe e non essere compresi, creduti o ascoltati. Pasolini ci chiariva che la " morte" dell'individuo non è quando non ti permettono di parlare ma quando quello che dici non è più capito.
Dedico questo lavoro, che avrebbe potuto chiamarsi "FINZIONI" perché quasi nulla e' quello che sembra, a tutti i ricercatori, gli uomini e le donne dell'istituto IPCC e dell'ONU.
Solo pochi giorni fa ci hanno rassicurato, nella quasi indifferenza generale, che grazie al progressivo riscaldamento dell'atmosfera non sarà il CO2 a soffocare il pianeta ma i miliardi di metri cubi di Metano, ora congelato sul fondo degli oceani. Questa rappresentazione degli elementi, che non vuole essere esaustiva ma iconografica e di sintesi, diventa quasi un esorcismo.
Un esercizio di riproduzione di memoria visiva ( riproduco ciò che ricordo) in attesa che diventi catalogazione ( riproduco ciò che non esiste più)
Wikipedia definisce: per esorcismo si intende un insieme di pratiche e riti volti a scacciare una presunta presenza demoniaca o malefica da una persona, un animale o da un luogo. Esorcizzare ( scongiurare, allontanare un probabile evento avverso) e' il mio intento. Basterà? Non credo.

Pasolini explained that the "death" of a man is not when he isn’t allowed to talk but instead, it takes place when what a man says is no longer understood.
This series could be called "FICTION”. In fact, almost anything we can see is what appears.
I dedicate this work to all researchers, both men and women, who work for the IPCC Institute and for the ONU.
Just a few days ago we were reassured, in the almost general indifference, that (thanks to the atmosphere’s gradual warming) the CO2 won’t smother the planet. It will do this the billions of methane’s cubic meters, now frozen at the bottom of the oceans, instead.
This representation of the elements, which is not meant to be exhaustive but iconographic and synthetic, becomes nearly an exorcism.
This is an exercise of representing visual memory (I reproduce what I remember) waiting to become cataloging (I reproduce what no longer exists).
Wikipedia defines “exorcism” as “the practice of evicting demons or other spiritual entities from a person, an area or an animal they are believed to have possessed”.
Exorcise (ward off, distance a possible adverse event) is my intent. Will this be enough?
I do not believe so.
