Gear For Sale

Gear For Sale

I try to cycle my equipment out while it is still viable and in good working order to make it easier in my race with the Joneses!

As the New Year starts my goals for new equipment is ever evolving. Rotating out my gear allows me to provide an ongoing qualitative edge to the imagery I provide to my clients. With that in mind, it also allows folks to get their hands on equipment that has been stored in climate control conditions when not in use. My current gear for sale includes the below listed. I am only interested in selling to Okinawa-based entities as they are available to check hands-on with the equipment before purchasing. All purchases are final and should be made are via Cash or PayPal options. All equipment is sold as seen.

Sony A7S2 Mirrorless Camera - US$1,100

Full English menu version. Only used for video creation. The shutter count for still shots is currently at 8543. This camera has served me well, but I'm looking to replace it with a more performant cinema camera. An absolute low-light beast, the Sony A7S2 is famous for its abilities in very low-lit conditions. Try shooting it at ISO12800; you'll be blown away by the lack of digital noise. This camera comes with the following accessories. I am not looking to part any of this package out as it would render it very difficult to sell the accessories, given that this is not a very common camera in Okinawa.

  • 6 x batteries
  • 1 x Battery Charger
  • SmallRig Filming Cage
  • Two SmallRig Handles and NATO quick-fit adapters

Sony 24 - 105mm f4 G OSS Variable focal length lens - US$1,098

  • Sony 24 - 105mm f4 G OSS Variable focal length lens - US$1,098, save $200 on the new lens, with no shipping.

ATOMOS Ninja Flame 7" External Monitor / SSD Recorder - US$675.00

This solid-state recorder takes the signal sent from the camera to the sensor via HDMI connection and records it before it is compressed into the MPEG4 file that this camera creates. Instead, the ATOMOS records an uncompressed .mov file that is immediately available for editing in most NLE edit suites. This package comes with the following accessories:

  • 2 x NP-F750 batteries
  • 1 x 500GB SSD for over 1hr of uncompressed 4k 30fps recording
  • 1 x 240GB SSD for 35min of uncompressed 4k 30fps recording
  • SSD interface sled for connecting to computer
  • HDMI to Mini HDMI cable - Camera to ATOMOS
  • Battery Chargers and associated cables for V-Lock / DTap connectivity
  • Durable transport case with laser-cut foam from the manufacturer.

Camvate CamTree MB-23 - US$150.00

Carbon Fiber swing-away matte box and filter holder. This item comes with barn doors and has a standard 114mm lens collar with a shroud to retain darkness when fitted. The complete unit sits on a bracket suitable for 15mm rods.

Zoom H2n Audio Hard Drive Recorder - US$125.00

Versatile whether as a handheld microphone or with a lapel or audio mic connected via 3.5mm audio in jack. Can record up to 5 channels through different formats and has a number of default scenario settings for quick set-up.

Rode Video Mic Go - US$65.00

A firm favorite amongst video enthusiasts. Lightweight and dependable. This item comes with a wind muffler 'dead cat', the standard Mic foam, and a 3.5mm connector jack. This unit also sits in its vibration-absorbing cage and has a hot shoe adapter fitting for simple connections to cameras and camera cages.
