Dig our your stetson hats and pull on that Western wear because Stockport's Buckle & Boots Festival hits this weekend.

This debut showcase for the best of current UK country talent, it also boasts rising stars from the scene from across the pond - all on the edge of one of the UK's oldest and most picturesque country parks in Stockport.

Among the big draws are former X Factor and Fame Academy contestant Carolynne Poole, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year Phil Vassar, the toast of Nashville SaraBeth, iTunes Country charts stars Holloway Road, Mancunian bluegrass-folk outfit The Cornelius Crane, rising talent and Liverpool girl Laura Oakes, and Irish belle Megan O'Neill.

As well as all the music, there's street food, bars, and even camping facilities at this one of kind regional festival. So here's a quick guide to everything you need to know.

Buckle & Boots runs from June 24-26, and camping is available for country music lovers to stay all weekend.

The address is Whitebottom Farm, Etherow Country Park, Compstall, Stockport, SK6 5HZ .

There's also plenty of exciting food available, with authentic Neapolitan wood fired pizza specialist Streatza, Bengali cuisine and Asian dish experts Caarma Curries, burgers and Cajan barbecue grill Oh My Glaze. and The Big BBQ with its cuts of Blackthorn pedigree Aberdeen Angus beef.

Tickets

There are two tiers of tickets - for each day and the full weekend.

Weekend: £50

Friday: £20

Saturday: £25

Sunday: £25

Tickets can be booked at the offical Buckle & Boots website or via 07340 809204 and buckleandboots@gmail.com. They can also be bought in person at Inkbox Marple ( SK6 7AH ). Ticketholders under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Etherow Park is neighboured by Compstall Nature Reserve, which is looked after by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust. A donation from every ticket sold will go to the trust to conserve some of the rare animal life on the site, which includes kingfishers and yellow wagtails, Mandarin ducks, dragonflies and damselflies, and the white-letter hairstreak butterfly.

Camping

Campers are welcome on site from 4pm on Thursday, June 23, and must leave by midday on Monday, June 27. There is a shuttle bus service to site from the centre of town.

Camper vans or a caravan and car cost £10 plus £15 per person, or 'glamping' is available in bell tents from £220 (up to four people). The bell tents include lighting, cushions, a mini table, and matting throughout, as well as access to posh toilets and hot showers.

Camping does not include entry tickets, which must be bought separately.
