Holiday special: Tech Weekly podcast
With summer just around the corner, we find out how technology has changed the way we go on holiday
Back in the day, booking holidays were easy: you went to the travel agents, picked up a brochure, and a year later jetted off to destinations more-or-less unknown with a suitcase full of paperbacks and factor 20 suncream.
Now you can research your destination online, book the day before you leave, stay anywhere from a treehouse to a castle, update your friends with minute-by-minute posts about all the fun you're having, and keep on top of your work emails while you're at it.
But how much of that is a good thing? What are the tech dos and don'ts of going on a holiday in 2015?
