If you didn't see Alton Brown's Edible Inevitable Tour when it came through SF last week, you definitely missed out. (Like, didn't get to see pizzas baked in three minutes in a gigantic Easy Bake oven levels of missed out.) However, the culinary scientist, Cutthroat Kitchen host, and all-around excellent human was kind enough not only to hang out with us, but to share his entire dining and drinking itinerary for both SF and Napa, which included plenty of coffee, Vietnamese food a-go-go, and of course, a little hooch. Here's the full accounting of everywhere AB ate, perfect for masterminding a daylong food crawl of your own.

Brown got his second caffeine fix at the FiDi coffee shop from the Rosenthal brothers, where he learned for the first time that "Gibraltar" is an alternate name for a cortado. (Blue Bottle started that one by naming it after the type of Libbey glass in which it's typically served.)

"For anybody on Earth who’s looking for the perfect gift to give me, this is the only place you need to look," says Brown of this specialty liquor store. He particularly likes bourbon, especially when paired with what he says is his favorite guilty-pleasure snack: Fritos dipped in the "caramel" sold next to apples at the supermarket.
