Woman (47) missing in Wicklow Mountains has been found

The woman is on her way to hospital and no details concerning her physical condition have been made available to Independent.ie.

A helicopter was dispatched to the Wicklow Mountains earlier this evening after the 47-year-old woman was reported missing.

Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue and gardai also travelled to Trooperstown Wood after the woman went missing at approximately 7.30pm tonight.

A spokesman from Dublin Coast Guard told Independent.ie that a vehicle, believed to be the woman’s, had been discovered in the wood and that it’s understood she was walking alone.
