Chael Sonnen: Holly Holm not very good at punching, might not even outstrike Ronda Rousey at UFC 193

Chael gonna Chael?

Remember when Chael Sonnen buried Holly Holm, declaring that there is absolutely no validity to any of her 17 world boxing titles?

Now, "American Gangster" is taking his argument one step further, claiming the striking specialist can't event punch that well. In addition, he isn't too sure "Preachers' Daughter" can outstrike women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey when the two go toe-to-toe at UFC 193 on Nov. 14, 2015, in Melbourne, Australia (details).

He said as much during a recent interview on "The MMA Hour" (via MMA Fighting):

"Again, she's got some skills. You'll hear the expression 'a puncher's chance,' but she's not very good at punching. Those boxing championships, they're not real. I'm not sure she could outstrike Ronda. She definitely can't outgrapple her. I wish her the best. This is a very nice girl. I've never met Holly. She has a tremendous reputation. People love her. They don't just go, 'Oh, she's alright.' They go on and on about what a great teammate she is and what a great person she is. I want to make that clear before I start throwing stones here. In her defense, if she enters into an event and that promoter calls it the world title and puts a belt around her, I think she has the right to put it on her resume."

Those sentiments, however, aren't exactly shared by "Rowdy," who has often proclaimed Holm to be the most decorated striker in mixed martial arts (MMA) today.

Rousey, though, isn't a slouch on the feet, either, proving time and again she can now knockout her foes, as well as go to her bread and butter and snap limbs. But, can Rousey actually outstrike a former professional boxing champion and back up all of her trainer's bold statements?

Sonnen, for one, thinks she can.
