More than half a dozen drivers discovered Sunday morning that airbags had been stolen from their cars in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police responded to nine different addresses -- 8200 block of Eastwood Street, 2200 Block of Hoffnagle Street, 1800 block of Strahle Street, 2400 block of Benson Street, 8100 block of Summerdale Avenue, 1800 block of Arthur Street, and 8100 block of Revere Street -- for reported break-ins of nine different Honda vehicles.

Eight of the Hondas were model year 2013, while the ninth was model year 2011, according to authorities.

All the airbags were removed from the steering wheel, none from the passenger side, investigators said.
