Campaign is going really well. Help us take it to the next level

Thank you for bearing with us as we begin to emerge from a period of shock and awe at the wonderful support for naming this heavy metal after Lemmy into a more planned campaign phase. We have established that making this happen requires us to manage three campaigns simultaneously they are as followers 1 Getting everybody signed up and building a fan community online through Twitter,Facebook (coming soon) and the developing the website content at Lemmium.org 2 Developing our argument to take to the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry as to why the world needs Lemmium and this includes a lot of learning and then developing our argument within the timeframes available 3 Raising funds for the campaign to give us some resource to make things happen faster e.g. engaging a public relations company and scientific lobbyists to help us make the case to the decision makers SO HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED - That's as easy as 123 1 - To help with developing the fan community you can like, retweet and share on social media and let us know about stuff online or in the media we might have missed. If you are skilled at language why not volunteer to be one of our team of translators to get the message out across the world? If you are creative and good at graphic design or CGI why not talk to us about how we could help you find an audience for your work through Lemmium.org. If you are a band or a musician how about doing your version of the Lemmium song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgVQKCcfwnU&list=RDVgVQKCcfwnU don't forget to put Lemmium in at 115 and also why not donate your time to raise funds through a fundraiser gig. If you are skilled at social media, communications and public relations we would love to hear from you. Because we are a fan community we will thank everyone online so if you have already helped us you will be named when our website gets launched in the new couple of days. So if you haven't supported us yet but want your name amongst Professor Brian Cox and Duff McKagan of Guns and Roses you know what to do. 2 - You can help us with the science in a number of ways especially in writing material for non-scientific audiences to ensure that this campaign has strong educational benefits and helps build interest in science. Also please get in touch if you are a science student, post grad, researcher or lecturer at Laboratorium fur Anorganische Chemie in Zurich, School of Chemistry Trinity College Dublin, Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Alicante, National Research Council Ottawa and the Leiden Institute of Chemistry in the Netherlands. 3 - You can help us fundraise - we don't know yet what this campaign will cost and up until now we have covered all costs from our own finances because we love Lemmy but this is a serious campaign and just saying how much we love Lemmy won't raise the funds we need for travel so that we can meet the key decision makers and influencers in the world of science that are in a position to make Lemmium a reality. We don't want to ask for money from you but we think it would be great to get some fundraising events organised around the world where everyone can have fun, contribute to the campaign, remember Lemmy and raise funds to create the legacy we all want. Also we will soon be releasing some official campaign merchandise to raise funds for the campaign so look out for that and please consider buying from us - with Valentine’s day coming up why not buy a really special gift from us that will help raise funds for such an important cause.
