The #1 Way to Motivate Your Network Marketing Team

You finally have a team started, but what now? How do you motivate them to take action, to go to the events, training and how do you get them to start duplicating?

This is an all to common question that I get asked all the time, so today I’m about to share with you

The #1 way to motivate your network marketing team.

At the beginning of the year we made a goal to personally rank advance in our company, we wanted to hit that NEXT LEVEL.

We sat down, took a look at our back office and figured out how many people we needed to make this happen.

Now in network marketing, the cool thing is that you can hit your goals in 2 ways:

  1. Your Personal Production
  2. Your Team Production

Here’s the problem with #2.

Most people will rely on their team for personal goals.

WE don’t.

Sure, it’s great when you have team members that are pulling their own weight and they’re working with you to contribute to the team volume, but we don’t expect or rely on this to hit OUR goals.

The only one that controls your outcome is YOU, so we have to personally get busy.

This is the #1 thing you have to understand as your team leader.

Now before you go thinking ‘But Tanya, you have to lift your team up and motivate them and encourage them to help them be successful’

I want you to just understand the mindset shift.

YES, of course you want to help your team, but you can’t do it for them or motivate them everyday by calling them up and whispering sweet nothings in their ear.

You inspire your team by being the inspiration!

You have to show them what’s possible and lead the way.

The ONLY way to do this, is to produce and hit your goals.

There’s only so many people you can carry on your back before your back breaks… now how are you suppose to motivate your team with a broken back?

Make sense?

I don’t know about you, but when I see my upline up on stage and going on fancy trips, I get motivated.

How do you find your motivation?

One of my teammates, Robert Minarich, said something very powerful to me at our last company event, he said

“Tanya, the biggest fear I have is you guys blowing past me in this company and while you’re on stage hanging with all the leaders and taking vacations with them, I’m going to be sitting in the audience and missing out on all the good times with you…. that scares the shit out me, and that’s why I HAVE to make this work!”

Robert found his motivation.

What’s your motivation? Find a fear that you have. What’s the worst that will happen if you don’t make this work? Does it scare you enough to move into massive action?

That’s how you motivate your team in Network Marketing!
