My boys LOVE these toys, they roll nice, they're a great size to carry around. they're easy to throw into boxes and bags. They can't lose them under closed doors like some of their toys. the only drawback is that they do fit under stoves and fridges. They don't hurt when I step on them like some of their harder toys.

Maybe other cats might like it, ours totally ignored it. We tried the green one. Then the blue one. Then the red one. We tried it on the rug (where the spring didn't bounce). We tried it on the hardwood floor; the spring bounced the cat just looked at us, wondering why were throwing the things. Worth trying ... inexpensive toy ... maybe your cat would like it. Also, there is a warning on the package that this toy shouldn't be used by your cat without supervision. We tried that too, thinking perhaps our kitty was inhibited by our presence. Nope, that didn't work either. Not much else to say.

My little Alice loves to chase them all around and she's 6 & 1/2 years old! And they're really difficult for me to accidentally step on, instead they just get kicked away and usually she comes flying out chasing it!! We're very happy we have them!!
