Save Sinead

We've been completely blown away by the generosity and community that you've shown.  We're extending the fundraiser to try and raise money for a whole year of therapy for Sinead - something we didn't imagine was possible last week! For the last nine years, Sinead's been bounced around the NHS. They haven't received any effective treatment for the complex mental health problems that make it extremely difficult for them to function.

They've been admitted to hospital four times in the last year after crisis situations. After each of those short admissions?

No therapy.

No referrals to more serious care.

No support at home.

Last week Sinead tried to commit suicide. They say they don't have the energy to live with these debilitating conditions any more - and they aren't getting ANY trained support to get better.

Sinead simply doesn't have the money to pay for care. And the NHS is not giving them the support they desperately need. So their friends are raising money to put together an effective care plan.

We need to raise £70 per week for a session with a therapist who's trained to deal with complex trauma. This is the care Sinead needs to recover - and it's care that's not covered by the NHS without a year-long waiting list.

This campaign aims to raise enough to cover the first 6 months of effective care for Sinead. Please give - and help Sinead start accessing care to live in a meaningful way.

- future months of therapy
- a carer to help Sinead with daily tasks, prescription management, and getting to appointments
- access to holistic therapies
