Tumbleweed Tuesday (the day after Labor Day) is a happening that some dread and some say couldn’t come sooner.
Whether you’re thrilled that fall is on the horizon or just need one more summer event, join the Montauk Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, September 8th, as they commemorate the end of the summer season with a Tumbleweed Tuesday concert.
Chamber Executive Director Laraine Creegan said this event is “for those who worked so hard to make this summer so terrific.” All are welcome at the free concert on “The Green” in Montauk, which will include a performance from local Nancy Atlas and friends.
“It is just a little thank you and gives all Montaukers time to kick back and relax for a few hours and enjoy their families at play too,” noted Creegan.
Sponsored by the Chamber, attendees can snack on free hot dogs, water, soda and chips, or set up their own picnic.
The Tumbleweed Tuesday concert will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th.
