I need help picking my first E-Cig!

So I've read general topics and information on different E-Cigs I've came to the choice of getting a VV/VW Mod.

But I don't want to deal with any of the external battery whole thing so I've decided to get one with Internal(Built in) Battery but I wanna know does it matter if its a built in battery or External on safety terms?!

Does TC really matter? How would It be like if I'm vaping 20 W with out TC or with TC? Whats the difference?

What are the top 5 built in battery mods out there and if you were to suggest one of these Mods for me which one would that be? and why!?

I'm sorry I know these questions requires lots of details! but I'm sick of smoking and looking forward to get rid of this habit.

Thanks in advance : )

A built in battery pass through device can be very convenient. I personally had a Smok M80 Xpro, and loved it. It has emulated TC. Some say they don't like it but I loved mine.

Hello @KOElbarody and WELCOME to the Vaping Underground and the world of Vaping.

There are many options for beginners. Looks like you've done some great research!! I'm sure you'll get many different opinions, but here's mine.

Mods I would recommend to a beginner -
eLeaf iStick 20w, 30w, 50w - internal, 100w- external
Innokin MVP Energy, MVP Shine, MVP 2.0, MVP 20w, MVP Pro - internal
Kanger Kbox Mini, Kbox Nano - external
IPV D2 - external
Cool Fire IV - internal
Innokin Disrupter - external cell
SMOK Xpro M65 - external

Now a few of these do take external 18650 batteries.. however, once you put the battery in they charge through the micro usb port. You won't have to keep changing out batteries. You just need to make sure the battery you get meets the requirements of the ohms you'll be operating the mod at. The advantage to the external battery is that it can be changed out. With the internals, once the battery goes the mod is toast.
The Innokin Disrupter actually takes it's own battery cell and comes in multiple color options.
If you get a kit like the Kanger Kbox Mini or Nano, MVP Pro... they come with a tank and charger.

I personally am not a big fan of TC and I do not own any mods with TC.

The other thing you need to know, if you plan to subohm... you need to make sure the mod you pick can operate at the subohm levels you want to use it at.

Hope you find this helpful! :)

First of all, what is your total budget for a mod and all the trimmings?

IMHO, I really don't like the mods with a battery that the owner can't swap out.

Battery dies and you throw out the entire mod!

I am also not a fan of TC but many are.

Just plain VW is good for me!

It really depends on a few considerations, budget, what do you feel like carrying around with you, and do you want to just try it out to see if it's for you or do you want something with flexibility down the road? There are plenty of starter kits with VV/VW that will suit a beginner's needs without breaking the bank, good size internal batteries and will be easy to carry around. Starting off you will be vaping in the 1.2-2.0 ohm range most likely, so a mod capable of 30 watts will have you covered nicely. Now if you think sub ohm vaping might be something you might like to try down the road you are going to need a mod that has higher wattage. I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend sub ohm vaping for beginners as you will likely have a higher level of nicotine and vaping over 6mg with a sub ohm coil can result in burnt tasting juice and sub ohm coils roll through juice if you vape a lot. Batteries/Mods are pretty straight forward, you know what you want so find what fits the bill, Aspire, Innokin, Eleaf just to name a few. Tanks and coils are where the magic happens. Everybody will have their favorite but in my opinion the beginners champ is the Nautilus. What I use is the MVP 3.0 Pro and iSub G tank (Kanger Sub Tank Mini V2 on the way). The MVP is VV/VW with an internal 4500mah battery that lasts for days before charging. Uses a standard micro usb charger and has a pass through. Only down side is a little bulky and has some weight, not made for little pockets. The MVP can handle sub ohm coils form .2 and up so it is a good start and expand mod and maxes out at 60 watts. As far as safety terms it's pretty simple. Coils come with a working range. Exceeding it a little will have you wear out the coil faster but it wont turn into a bomb, example: max wattage is 35 and you run it at 44, I did that with no issue. Don't go doubling the max range and you will be ok, example: max wattage is 35 and you run it at 70-100, that's just dumb and all you will be doing is vaping burnt juice. TC I care nothing about at this time because VW works fine for me. Good luck and hope my 2 cents helped a little. Disclaimer: I'm still fairly new myself but love learning about vaping, I am by no means a vaping genius or expert.

Check out the Aspire Premium Kit.
It has the Nautilus Mini and the CF VV+ battery. Very good kit.

Internal Batteries - Usually poor battery life, can't swap out batteries so you need to wait till it charges, can't remove battery if the mod starts autofiring.
External Batteries - Safer, better battery life, can swap out.

Do not worry about TC right.

Beginner Internal Battery Mods:
- Ego One Mega
- MVP 3 Pro

Do not buy iStick 50W as some people suggested here. It has a bad history of auto firing and blowing up.

Beginner External Battery Mods:
- Subox Mini
- Evic VTC Mini

I would personally get the Evic VTC Mini at this moment. It performs well, is tiny, and has enough power for future endeavors.

Thanks guys for taking time and effort for these amazing responses I'm glad.

I've limited my choices now into MVP 3 Pro, Smok M80 Xpro If I'm picking an internal battery device.
I'm considering the eVic VTC Mini If I'm picking an external battery device as well as Subox too since it comes with a nice Tank.

I'm more likely to pick one of those. Which would you guys recommend for me I've a budget of around the 100$?
In case i wont go with the Kanger Subox Starter Kit which tank do you guys recommend for me to get? I'd Vape on 0.5-1 Ohms With 15-20W?

I'd rather a tank with rebuildable included since its hard to have access to those pre-made coils in the market cause i live in Egypt and It would require me to import it which takes alot of effort compared to rolling a coil.

Thanks in advance.

If you go with subox kit make sure you are getting the v2 subtank. It has dual air vents on the bottom and uses the new vertical coil. The .5 coil on that tank has a nice wide range too. I'll be putting mine on my MVP pro Monday when it gets here and will post my thoughts on it. Subtank also comes with the extra 1.5 or 1.2 coil too. I'm going to try that out to see if I get good flavor with less consumption. If not I'll drop in the .5.

Side note: even if you just go with kanger sub tank mini and not the complete kit make sure its the v2. Sweetvapes has the v2 in black, white and stainless. They are the only ones I have seen with the stainless v2.

I am biased toward the Subox Mini. It is the perfect kit for a beginner, comes with an amazing tank, looks great, easy to use.

I know the Subox kit is SUPPOSED to come with the V2 tank. I also know there are rip off's and scams out there. Just saw the V2 advertised online the other day and what they were really selling was the stainless V1. He is new and I was emphasizing so he doesn't get ripped off. Especially if he goes with just the tank and a different battery.

As promised Subtank Mini V2 thoughts. I'm in love. Run, don't walk to buy this tank. I tried the 1.2 coil that came with it and was very impressed. Then I dropped in the .5 coil and was blown away. Swapped out the red o-rings for the black ones and it looks ba on my black MVP.
