UFC fighter Ronda Rousey makes a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 31 on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. WrestleMania broke the Levi’s Stadium attendance record at 76,976 fans from all 50 states and 40 countries.

Ronda Rousey has already conquered the Octagon. On Sunday, she owned the squared circle.

And at WrestleMania of all places.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship women's bantamweight champion joined Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at World Wrestling Entertainment's biggest event of the year at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

They interrupted an interview by WWE officials Stephanie McMahon and Paul "Triple-H" Levesque. After some verbal back-and-forth, Rousey used her Olympic judo skills to throw Triple-H and wrenched McMahon's arm to the delight of an announced crowd of more than 76,000 professional wrestling fans.

The mixed martial arts champion is a noted wrestling fan, appearing multiple times at ringside.

The surely scripted altercation started with McMahon slapping the Hollywood movie star and daring him to do something about it. As The Rock left the ring, the crowd began to chant for Rousey, who had previously been shown at ringside. The Rock retrieved the dominant mixed martial artist and they returned to the ring.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson stares off against WWE superstar Triple-H at WrestleMania 31 on Sunday.

McMahon initially tried to make friends with Rousey, but then reminded her that this was not the Octagon.

"Any ring I step into is mine," Rousey retorted, then daring McMahon to make her leave.

The Rock warned McMahon what Rousey could do to her before Triple-H came to the defense of his wife. That began the physicality where The Rock peppered Triple-H with punches and Rousey tossed him with judo precision. McMahon then got her arm wrenched for good measure.

Needless to say, it appeared that Rousey would fare better in the squared circle than McMahon would in the Octagon.

WWE superstar Seth Rollins celebrates becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31.

In other results, Seth Rollins -- only a month removed from being low-blowed by Jon Stewart of "The Daily Show" -- captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase during the Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns title bout. Rollins pinned Reigns to capture the belt.

The Undertaker also began a new streak when he defeated Bray Wyatt in the semi-main. He is now 22-1 at WrestleManias.

Earlier in the night, Triple-H defeated Sting in a bout that featured heavy cameos from 1990s pro wrestling factions New World Order and D-Generation X.

Also, Daniel Bryan won the Intercontinental Championship in a show-opening ladder match and John Cena captured the United States Championship by defeating Rusev.

As usual, there was plenty of spectacle at WWE's annual Super Bowl with Rusev entering the stadium on a Russian tank and Triple-H appearing in "Terminator" gear, complete with a video appearance from new WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger.
