South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier has been dropping wonderful one liners that are perfectly suited for social media for years, but he resisted joining up until Monday, when he finally signed on to Twitter.

His first offering is probably not going into the Twitter hall of fame, but the Head Ball Coach deserves a little leeway. And to prove it is not just another in the endless parade of parody accounts, his son tweeted out a photo of Spurrier staring quizzically at his phone.

Spurrier already has over 11,000 followers, only a half hour after his first tweet, so if you are looking to up your own follower account, follow the coach's lead and win a few SEC Championships.
