Transport Investment Plan for the Solent

The Solent LEP is currently developing its Transport Investment Plan (TIP) for the area and wants to ensure that the TIP meets the needs of the local business community. To ensure it does, all local businesses in the Solent area are invited to complete by 14 August the online survey available from the Solent LEP web site here.

Your views will be critical to ensuring that the Transport Investment Plan gives priority to the investments which have the best impact for Solent businesses. The short survey will help to build an evidence base of the value that the businesses in our region place on transport links, the key issues that they face, and how these issues are holding back business growth.

New British Marine brand officially launched to the industry

British Marine has unveiled its strong new identity that stands out within the context of modern brands in the marine sector, providing a solid focal point for the members the organisation serves.

British Marine now represents a durable brand for its members to be part of, which will serve them in promoting their businesses and British excellence in the UK and overseas markets. The use of the British Marine logo is an important benefit of membership and the organisation will continue to invest heavily in its ‘Look for the Logo’ campaign to encourage consumers to buy from British Marine members.

The new look is the result of a year long re-brand exercise which has been undertaken in-house with the Executive Team working with the Membership and Marketing Committee.
