6.56pm ANDY MURRAY WILL FACE MILOS RAONIC IN THE WIMBLEDON FINAL.

6.54pm MATCH POINT MURRAY... GAME MURRAY and it's a straight sets win in under two hours. Final score 6-3 6-3 6-3.

6.53pm MURRAY SERVES FOR THE MATCH... But it's Berdych who strikes first... 15-15... 30-15 to Murray courtesy of a devious backhand with his opponent running the opposite way... oh but he hits a simple smash shot out! 30-30.

6.49pm So here we go... Berdych needs to hold to prolong Murray's journey to the SW19 final... the Czech races to 30-0... 40-0 after Murray finds the net from deep... but that's a fine double-handed backhand down the line to make it 40-15... yet that's the game for Berdych... it may not matter long, though.

6.46pm A deep, deep forehand from Murray forces Berdych into the mistake and it's 15-15 in the seventh game of the third set... what a delightful cut shot from Murray that Berdych cannot get to before it bounces twice... 30-15 to Murray... 40-15... and it's game Murray. That's 5-2 in the third set.

6.38pm Our man on the ground explains where it's all going wrong for Berdych.

6.36pm MURRAY BREAKS and the fat lady is doing her warm-ups. 3-1 to Murray in the third set.

6.34pm Ivan Lendl can barely contain his excitement as his man Murray sets his sights on the final.

6.32pm That is a sublime drop shot from Berdych to make it deuce in the third game of the third set as he looks to break Murray... oh but he follows it with a clumsy forehand into the net...Tim Henman used to say those types of shot "can't be missed" apparently... GAME MURRAY after another error from Berdych. 2-1 to Muzza.

6.26pm Berdych isn't throwing in the towel a la Nick Kyrgious, though. He holds his serve to make it 1-1 in the third.

6.22pm Kim looks a bit worried but there's no need to be. Her man's in control of this semi-final. He takes the first game in the third set.

6.18pm GAME MURRAY. TWO SETS UP. Muzza wins the second 6-3 after taking the first by the same score. Milos Raonic awaits on Sunday if this carries on.

6.16pm Ho-hum. Murray leads 5-3 now. Chance for a 2-0 lead in the match.

6.13pm Look at his face, just look at his face!

6.10pm Murray races into a 30-0 lead with a break looking likely... Berdych challenges the call with Murray looking to go 40-15... Miles out... two break points for the Scotsman... Berdych drop shot finds the net and Murray skips off fist-pumping. NEW BALLS PLEASE AND MURRAY LEADS 4-3 IN THE SECOND SET.

6.07pm Finally, FINALLY... Murray holds his serve to make it 3-3. Helluva game.

6.04pm Meanwhile, this made us laugh...

6.03pm Advantage Murray after a stonking ace... he's serving for the game to make it 3-3 this set... first serve finds the net... and he can't keep Berdych's forehand in from close range. Deuce again.

6.02pm And now it's Murray who faces break point... a ferocious forehand can only be returned into the net... and Murray advantage with shouts of "Let's go! Let's go!" But Berdych won't go away and it's deuce again.

5.56pm That's a great recovery from Berdych after it looked like he had chucked the game away. A deft dink over the net is too much for Murray and it's 3-2 to the Czech in the second set.

5.54pm Muz claws it back to deuce from 40-0 down ... a great return gives him the advantage and Murray for the break... not yet, though... Berdych's strong serve forces Murray to return long...but Murray, partially hidden in the shade of Centre Court seizes the advantage again...deuce, Berdych ace... this could go on a while...

5.48pm Oh, Andy.. and full sprint and stretch he guides one down the line past his opponent. 30-0. Serving to win this set to love - with mum Judy clapping in the stands - first serve is a fault but second is good and it's 2-2.

5.44pm And now Berdych holds. Easy. The Czech leads 2-1.

5.41pm Murray holds his serve comfortably to make it 1-1 in the second set. Muz 1-0 up in sets. That final's beckoning...

5.38pm Wow! After a breathtaking rally Berdych spurns a chance to smash past Murray. The commentators are debating whether it's the worst miss of the tournament. Murray, with the serve, leads 30-0.

5.36pm Berdych bounces back well to win the first game of the second set to love. The ball off the Czech star's racket sounds like a cannon being fired, ooof.

5.32pm Berdych's unforced error count reaches 13 with Murray's just on one as he smashes an ace to seal the first set. MURRAY WINS FIRST SET 6-3.

5.30pm Berdych is losing his range with his returns and that's two gone long now... 40-15 to Murray with a chance to break... but Berdych's second serve is good to enough to force Murray to go out... but a huge Murray fist-pump greats the game point! MURRAY BREAKS. 5-3.

5.26pm It's the end for this year but Roger Federer makes it clear he'll be back for another go in 2017.

5.23pm Berdych wastes a golden opportunity to slam past Murray and Muz goes to 40-15. Serving to take the game... And Raonic puts the return out. Murray leads 4-3 in the first set.

5.06pm - Well, well... Murray has been broken. Berdych is right back in this now... Where did that come from?

5.03pm - Murray storms to 0-30... Could we have an early break here? Quickly becomes 15-40 and the Brit ace has two break points. Berdych saves the first but double faults the second! MURRAY BREAKS. 2-0.

5pm - Murray starts strong, holding to 15. We could be in for a long match though, some of those rallies were absolute crackers.

4.56pm - Here we go. Huge cheers for Murray. The second semi-final of this year's Wimbledon is ready to start. Murray to serve. Play...

4.51pm - Murray and Berdych are out on Centre Court going through their pre-match routines. Are we in for yet another five-set thriller?

4.42pm - Right then. Not much time to draw breath, but why not grab yourself a cuppa and get straight back to your seat? It's almost time for Andy Murray v Tomas Berdych. You won't want to miss this one...

4.37pm - What an effort that was from both players. Incredible resolve from both stars, but ultimately it looks like Federer ran out of gas. After missing some of the season through injury and then that five-setter against Cilic, who can blame him? A true warrior, but all credit to Raonic, his mental toughness was astounding to keep on track and win that against one of the all time legends of the sport.

4.34pm - Here we go. Can Raonic hold his nerve and his serve? Two big serves bring it to 30-0. He's two points away. One now after another mammoth serve. Three match points. RAONIC WINS AND REACHES THE FINAL OF WIMBLEDON.

4.33pm - Well, Federer holds to love. He will not just cave... But Raonic is serving for a place in his first ever Grand Slam final.

4.31pm - Raonic races to a hold. What a contrast. 5-2 now, Federer serving to stay in the championship.

4.28pm - The energy is almost exclusively with Raonic now... Federer looks exhausted, but he's a fighter. Raonic backs a break point chance with a stunning, powerful cross-court forehand winner, but can only net a return for deuce. He gets another chance here after Roger fires long, but Federer will not fold, finding the line with startling precision for another deuce. And he holds. Somehow, Federer holds. Incredible spirit from the veteran.

4.22pm - A double fault followed by an ace, just about sums it up for Raonic... Either way the Canadian consolidates the break. 4-1 now in the decider. What has Federer got left in the tank?

4.19pm - Ooh, a Federer double-fault this time gifts Raonic another chance. The Swiss star is looking more the tired player here. WHAT A POINT. What. A. Point. The most remarkable point of the match goes to Raonic and he breaks. Incredible stuff here on Centre Court. He's ecstatic and why not?!

4.17pm - Phew, he's up. He has a break point to defend though. And he does so with aplomb. Deuce. Advantage Federer. Back to deuce. Who will edge this one?

4.15pm - Raonic has half a chance to break at 30-30 on the Federer serve before the pair exchange points for deuce. And after a thrilling rally, the Canadian grabs a break point opportunity... But Federer has called of the trainer following a tumble. This doesn't look good...

4.09pm - Another quick hold and we're racing to a thrilling conclusion, I can feel it.

4.07pm - And Federer holds to love. This is somewhat familiar. We'll just wait until late in the set for the drama, then...

4.06pm - Hold for Raonic, sealed with a 141mph serve Federer can only edge behind to first slip... 1-0.

3.56pm - Wow... Federer charges to 40-0 up, before Raonic wins four on the bounce for set point. Federer brings it back before a ferocious cross-court forehands gives the Canadian another chance. Roger nervelessly puts the brakes on for deuce, before firing an ace for advantage. Raonic hits an absolute beauty or backhand return though and the see-saw game continues. And then ANOTHER set point for the Canadian... AND HE TAKES IT TO WIN THE FOURTH SET.

And we move on to a deciding fifth set. Wow.

3.50pm - Federer races to 0-30 and he can smell blood in the water now as he closes in on his 11th Wimbledon final and third in succession. But some truly remarkable tennis gets Raonic back level at 30-30, before extending that to 40-30 and crucially holding. 6-5. Are we on the brink of another tie-break? It's that or a fifth set...

3.46pm - Well now, what's this? 15-30 and Raonic is two points away from forcing a fifth set. But Federer recovers for 40-30, much to the Canadian's dismay. An ace is called out by the umpire, Roger reviews and wins. That's the game. That's 5-5. Tense...

3.41pm - Federer edges to 15-30 and nearly makes it 15-40 but his backhand drifts agonisingly wide for 30-30. But he gets his break point chance at 30-40, but can only find the net from a power-serve from Raonic. The Canadian goes on to hold for a 5-4 lead, can he be the one to break?

Don't forget, somewhere, Andy Murray is watching, planning, waiting... Here's a stat for you:

3.36pm - Game Federer and it's 4-4. Again... Who will slip first?

3.32pm - Now it's Federer's turn to get a chance at 15-30, but a ferocious 144mph serve brings it back to 30-30. And then a nerveless 123mph second serve for 40-30. Wow, very bold play. Another double-fault brings us to deuce before eventually grinding out a hold. 4-3. And breathe.

3.28pm - Raonic gets a sniff of a break at 15-30, but Federer storms back to take a 40-30 lead. The Swiss star can only find the net with a volley for deuce, but he bounces back to take the game. 3-3.

3.23pm - Big trouble for Raonic at 15-40 following a spate of unforced errors. He claws one break point back... And the other for deuce. The Canadian scrapes through the game with some solid serve-volleying. He's still got a pulse in this match... Just. 3-2.

3.17pm - Now 2-2. These guys certainly like flying through the early games of a set...

3.13pm - And we're quickly on to 2-1 Raonic on serve.

3.11pm - They've both come out of the blocks quickly as Federer holds to love. No time to draw breath here.

3.10pm - We're about to find out what Raonic is made of as he kicks of proceedings in the fourth set. A hold to love tells the whole story.

3.08pm - Federer now just a set away from his third straight final at SW19 and 11th overall. Hugely impressive stuff from the the Swiss superstar...

3.06pm - Right then. Federer serving for the third set. And he holds to love to WIN THE THIRD SET. Nerves? What nerves?

3.04pm - Solid hold for the Canadian this time. But he needs a break now. What can he muster on the Federer serve?

3.01pm - Raonic needs a response here. But he looks rattled. A lot of ground-strokes are cracking off the frame of the racquet. The relentless Federer is cruising now for a 5-3 lead.

2.58pm - The double-faults are really racking up for Raonic now. And Federer is making him pay, moving to 15-40, with two bites of the cherry at break point. The Canadian saves the first, but not the second. Federer breaks for 4-3 in the decisive third set.

2.55pm - Federer holds to love as simply as you'll ever see. 3-3.

2.52pm - Some big serving from Raonic gets his nose in front. One of those humdingers clocked in at 140mph...

2.49pm - Federer races to 40-15, but following a double fault, he's suddenly pegged back to deuce. Is this a chance for Raonic? No, the wily Federer takes the game. It's now one set-all, two games-all. This could be another thriller in the making.

2.43pm - 2-1 Raonic after a comfortable hold...

2.40pm - Well, Raonic if this is anything to go by as the Canadian races to 0-30 on the Federer serve. But the Swiss veteran digs deep into his bag of tricks to bite back and reel off four points in a row for 1-1.

2.38pm - It's worth noting Raonic has never reached a Grand Slam final before. Federer on the other hand has featured in a few, here and there... Who wants it more?

2.37pm - We're finally underway and it's a hold for Raonic with some more mammoth serving. 1-0.

2.35pm - Odd start to the third set, this, as Raonic appears to have disappeared. And I don't mean his game. He really is lost somewhere... Federer, brow furrowed and hands on hips can only wait.

2.30pm - SECOND SET TO FEDERER. The Swiss star takes his first opportunity this time around and we are level at a set apiece. Game. On.

2.29pm - ANOTHER double-fault from Raonic hands Federer the first mini-break for 4-3, before Federer pushes that advantage out to 6-3 for THREE more set points.

2.27pm - No one's blinked yet and we're at 3-3 at the changeover...

2.24pm - We are indeed. Raonic holds to love to bring us to 6-6 on Centre Court. It's tie-break time...

2.20pm - 30-30 in the 11th game and Raonic can smell a chance. But Federer manages to quash that and move to a 6-5 lead. Are we in for a tie-break?

2.17pm - Cheers around Centre Court as Federer battles to 0-30 and just two points of the set. Oh and another double fault from the Canadian's racquet hands the Swiss star THREE set points. Somehow Raonic saves all of them with some incredible tennis, but Federer grabs another chance with a stunner of a backhand down the line. Can he convert this one? No... Raonic is really battling now, digging deep for every point. He finally holds. And breathe. 5-5.

2.10pm - Federer holds with a lovely backhand down the line and suddenly Raonic is serving to stay in the set. How's his nerve?

2.07pm - 4-4 as the Canadian holds to love. We're in the business end of this set now... Who will make that crucial first move?

2.05pm - Raonic is trying to keep these points short and who could blame him? If you get into a long rally with Federer there's almost always only one winner. Anyway, the Canadian sneaks to 15-30 before the Swiss ace fires back to reel off three points in a row and it's 4-3 in the second.

2.01pm - No one's blinked here yet. In fact, blink and you'll miss it... We're already at 3-3 as Raonic holds.

1.58pm - And another simple hold. To love this time from Federer. Simple. 3-2.

1.56pm - Emphatic hold there from Raonic. 2-2 and we are racing through this match.

1.53pm - Bizarre swing and a miss from Raonic as Federer seals a comfortable hold with an ace.

1.50pm - Hold for Raonic as he gets moving in the second. 1-1.

1.47pm - Federer holds with ease to kick off the second set. He won't want to go two sets to love down again... In the process he brings up his 1,200th Wimbledon ace. Impressive stuff from the Swiss veteran.

1.44pm - Here's some confirmation on that...

1.43pm - RAONIC TAKES THE FIRST SET... It took a thriller of a game, but the Canadian gets on the board first. Mind you, we all know Federer won't go down without a fight. Is another stunning comeback on the cards?

1.39pm - But Federer races through his next game. Over to you, Milos, serving for the set...

1.35pm - Chance here for Roger as he sneaks to 0-30 on the Raonic serve. But FOUR, yes four, humongous serves from the Canadian quickly snuff that one out. 5-2 and he's just one game away from the first set.

1.31pm - A second serve ace? I told you... This match really has had it all. Now the scoreboard started flashing images, distracting Federer from his service game. Crazy match, this. The Swiss superstar finishes the game in a flurry of stunning net points though and it's 4-2 now.

1.28pm - I don't know about you, but I love bonkers stats. Here's one for you...

1.26pm - From the average to the outrageous, the match has already seen it all. A terrible slice into the net from Raonic is followed by a stunning backhand pass from Federer. Raonic follows that up with a 144mph serve. Sheesh... Anyway, the Canadian eventually holds for a 4-1 lead after being taken to deuce.

1.21pm - Just a sniff of a chance here for Raonic as he recovers from 30-0 down to 30-30 on the Federer serve. Oh and he's bagged himself the first break point of the match. Can he convert? Federer simply hands it to Raonic on a plate double-faulting on break point. Wow. 3-1 now, with Raonic to serve.

1.17pm - Bosh! Some big serving and even bigger ground-strokes from the racquet or Raonic are too much for Federer. I wonder how his legs are feeling after his epic against Cilic on Wednesday... 2-1 Raonic.

1.14pm - Even more straightforward for Federer, mind, as he holds to love. 1-1 here on Centre Court.

1.12pm - Solid hold there for the Canadian. Just the one slip up, with a bizarre double-fault, but after that it was plain sailing with his hugely-efficient serve-volley technique already in full flow.

1.09pm - And here we go, with Raonic to serve...

1.03pm - The players are out on the court and are about to go through their pre-match warm-up. We're just minutes away now from the Wimbledon semi-finals...

1.01pm - Let's hope we have all the excitement of Wednesday's drama today, where both Centre Court matches went to five-set thrillers. Although, that said, I'm sure a few of us would like to give our hearts a rest and watch Muzza sail through to the final in three today...

1pm - Welcome to SunSport's live blog of the men's semi-finals from Wimbledon. First up we've got Roger Federer's showdown with Milos Raonic, then it's time for the main event for all home fans, as Brit hero Andy Murray battles Tomas Berdych.
