Xiaomi is all set to launch their new Redmi Pro smartphone on July 27 with a dual rear camera setup. It would be the first time that the Chinese company would be providing such feature on their handset. We expect the device to be priced at 1699 Yuan.

Earlier, July 15 :Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi confirmed to launch five new smartphones by the end of this year. From past few weeks, seen few Xiaomi smartphones listed on Geekbench with the codenames MarkW, Capricorn, Altun. The rumored Xiaomi Mi 5S or the Mi Note 2 can also be expected to launch in the next few months. Xiaomi Redmi Pro is one more device that was listed on Geekbench. Now the company will be launching a new Redmi smartphone on July 27th, and we expect the Redmi Pro to be unveiled on that day.

Xiaomi had recently appointed brand ambassadors for the first time, so we may also see them on stage. The company also mentioned to sold more than 110 million Redmi devices till now and is offering devices with special offers in China. As of now, there is no information about this special sale in India. Talking about the Redmi Pro (not Redmi Note 4), it comes with dual rear cameras, and we already got the first look of the device with the leaked image. It looks same as the Redmi Note 3, but the circular fingerprint sensor is replaced the second rear camera sensor.

Unlike Redmi Note 3, the Redmi Pro comes with all metal body and the speaker is shifted from rear to the bottom edge. From the image, we can see the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. The Geekbench listing revealed the device to come with Helio X25 deca-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is rumored to feature 128GB storage variant along with the basic variant sporting 32GB storage. The Redmi Pro runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and might get the MIUI 8 by the time of sales.

As of now, there is no word from the company about this new device, and we will update once there is a confirmation. The latest leaks also suggest Xiaomi to unveil Mi Notebook on that same day. It might come in two different screen sizes and will be powered by Intel Atom processor and Microsoft Windows 10 OS. Stay tuned for more details!
