As a fourteen year old, Rebecca Starford won a scholarship to a prestigious school in the bushland of the Victorian high country. As part of the school's program, the year 9s spent a compulsory year as boarders.
It was during this year, when teachers left the students to themselves, that Rebecca witnessed, participated in and suffered from the severe bullying that unsupervised teenage girls can dish out to each other.
