A train journey of dreams: Deccan Odyssey announces special discounts for Indians

Deccan Odyssey, the way we all know it, offers a train journey of dreams. Designed specially for travellers, this train takes its passengers on a journey through some of the most beautiful routes. The tours and itineraries are decided in such a manner that one gets to experience the best of India's natural richness and at the same time, witness its architectural wonders, including the World Heritage Sites.

Run by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and operated by the body's outsourced partner and leading travel operator Cox & Kings, the train offers its passengers accommodation in uber-luxurious cabins with upscale services and the finest food and beverages that match the royal standards.

This year, the Deccan Odyssey will embark on its unique journeys from October 1 and for that, a Companion Offer has been announced specially for Indian citizens who are residing within the country.

Valid on bookings made till September 30, the offer will let resident Indians avail a discount of 50 per cent for a companion while booking a cabin in the train. Foreign diplomats, expats residing in India and those with the resident permit can also avail of the special offer.

The train stands out for its superlative service combined with world-class amenities. It has been refurbished recently, keeping in mind the aspirations of the new-age traveller. The journeys offer a glimpse of Incredible India with stops at destinations that have historical significance and diverse cultural offering.
