I'm pretty sure the Kardashian/Jenners wake up in the morning and say to themselves, "What blast from the past can I try to make cool again today?" Or at least their stylist Monica Rose who dresses them does.
Lately, the ladies have been trying to bring back (successfully, might I add) many '90s styles, including the choker necklace and distressed denim. Now it seems the latest trend to be revived is the layered tank-over-T-shirt look.
Kendall wore the look after the MTV Movie Awards on April 9.
Kim was then seen sporting the layered look in NYC on April 16, though hers was a long sleeve top of some sort under a long slinky number.
Kylie was the latest to wear the trend on day three of Coachella, which pretty much confirms that this is a thing that you will now be seeing people wear again.

I remember back in the day when my mom would make me wear a baby T under my risqué spaghetti strap tank tops before leaving the house. Who knew Kathy was so ahead of her time?
Update 4/18, 5:38 p.m.: The Navy has kindly brought to my attention that Rihanna has also worn this ensemble in recent months. Which only further confirms that this is indeed a trend again.
