Hudson Mohawke on His Humble Beginnings and Rise to the Top

Household name Hudson Mohawke recently caught up with SKEE TV to discuss his musical background, which spans a wide range of genres and features, working with the likes of hip-hop heavyweights such as Kanye West and Drake. During the latest segment of InFocus, the Scottish DJ and producer breaks down the grueling process of making it in the music realm, an aspiration that was first spurned during his early days bartending at a club, where he was first exposed to the works of LCD Soundsystem and Soulwax. A Myspace music page later – followed by back and forth meetings with label A&Rs, the formation of TNGHT with Lunice, and a DM from Drake - Mohawke has steadily ascended up the ranks, and is now on the verge of releasing his second studio album titled Lantern.
