Opposition leader reinstated.  Papua New Guinea's opposition leader Don Polye is returning to Parliament after being stood down.

Thousands in PNG's Simbu call on PM to resign.  Thousands of people in the Papua New Guinea province of Simbu have called on Prime Minister Peter O'Neill to resign from office.

PNG university semester suspended.  Students at the University of PNG in Port Moresby have been told to vacate the campus within 48 hours after semester one was suspended for an indefinite period.

Leadership code makes politicians more accountable.  The Government of Nauru has delivered on its pledge towards transparency and accountability by adopting a new Leadership Code that aims to hold those in power and authority accountable for their actions.

Fiji:

Woman fronts court over FNPF cheque.  A woman who is alleged to have dishonestly obtained Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) cheque worth $15,600 — approved for member assistance post-Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston — made her first appearance in the Suva Magistrates Court.
