Company has a great opportunity for a Production Manager for Footwear.
The position is responsible for managing inventory, costing, production scheduling and acting as a liaison for Business Units and Foreign Buying Offices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Entry and management of contracts as needed for prepack and open stock styles.
• Update and distribute multiple reports on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage open-to-buy process
• Other tasks as requested by management
• Travel as needed
• Initiate and develop processes that identify issues early on so resolutions are administered timely.
• Network – utilize all support divisions within the corporation to better understand the relationship between all facets of the business
• Communication and follow up with the Foreign Buying Offices on a daily basis.
• Negotiation and coordination of pricing/scheduling with Costing Team/Agents.
• Coordination of approval/confirmation samples with Product Team to maintain deliveries.
• Review of customer acceleration/advertising requests with Sales Reps/Account Coordinators.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 6-9 years related experience
• Costing a plus
• Must have strong analytical, computer and organizational skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• High mathematical skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
