There is no official announcement yet from Samsung and yet images of the supposedly upcoming Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds and Gear Fit 2 have been floating around some of the usual suspects. But what was surprising (or maybe not really) is that Samsung’s own website, specifically the S Health site, actually had the images up there as well. This may have been deliberate or maybe even “accidental” but it just means that the official announcement of these two devices is probably imminent.

It’s been two years since Samsung launched the wearable Gear Fit and so it is probably due for an upgrade. It will supposedly have a 1.84-inch AMOLED display and will have 4GB of internal memory. And since it is more of a fitness band rather than a smartwatch (although it does look more like a smartwatch physically speaking), it will have built-in GPS and it will probably be water-resistant. And of course it will have other fitness-related features as well.

Meanwhile, the Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds will reportedly be completely wireless and can work both as a standalone music player or connected to a music source through Bluetooth. It will have some touch controls and will be water resistant as well. It will even carry with it some fitness functions, but as to what these are, no leaks yet for now.

These two upcoming devices are expected to be announced by September during the IFA, together with the Galaxy Note 6, but given the leaks as early as now, it might even be sooner.
