Ever since Samsung introduced their first Galaxy Note, phablets have become a thing for mobile users. If you didn’t know yet, it’s a hybrid of a phone and tablet (hence the name) and can be used as a personal and work-related mobile device because of its size and capability. Now Lenovo has released its very own phablet and they’re embracing the “hybridness” of it all by calling it the PHAB. It is now available in India, and hopefully later on, the rest of the world.

This isn’t actually the first PHAB that Lenovo released in India. A few months ago, it introduced the PHAB Plus but this time around, it will simply be the Lenovo PHAB that has been introduced to the market. It has a 6.9-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC. It has a 13MP main camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera.

Despite its size though, the specs are that for a mid-range smartphone, with its 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (but expandable through microSD card) and it comes with just the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, a 4250mAh batter, and Dolby Atmos sound.

It will come in ebony black color and it is 8.9mm thick with a metal frame. It doesn’t sound like it’s the sleekest of devices as well, but if what you’re looking is a decent enough device with a large screen, and if you live in India, then you can check it out. It is priced at Rs 11,999 or that’s around $180. It will go on sale by April 21 but sign up for pre-ordering is already available at Flipkart.
