Whether you’re a part-time online retailer or a full time online shopper, you probably do a lot of your interactions and buying and selling on your mobile device, rather than your desktop. And if you use eBay for your online shopping, then you would want to update your Android app now, as there are changes afoot in terms of its design, navigation, and utility functions. There are also some features they’re bringing back due to “public demand”.

eBay says that it is one of the first global e-commerce apps to actually adapt Material Design, and so now users can have a more intuitive experience when buying or selling in the app. Because of this too, the speed of the app has increased and so your productivity when doing your business there is also improved. And since they listen to their consumers, they’re bringing some foundational changes and restored some previous features that people were asking for.

In terms of Navigation, the updated app has a simplified navigation drawer (or hamburger menu for some) that will make it easier for users to find what they’re looking for. You will also be able to see more of your recent search history. As for the Utility aspect, the app is now more optimized across devices so the experience is seamless. You will also be able to see similar items to the one you’re viewing and after you’ve made your purchase, you will see relevant and tailored items.

If you already have the eBay app on your device, all you need to do is update it. If you don’t have it yet, just download it from the Google Play Store for free of course, and then start buying and selling to your heart’s content.
