A Tameside based waste removal firm is expanding into new premises as a result of rapid growth driven by geographical expansion.
Supported by funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, The Rubbish Removers has acquired a unit on Lord Street in Ashton-under-Lyne which will provide the company with increased office and warehousing space to operate from.
RBS has supported the acquisition of the new premises with a £70,000 funding deal.
Established in 2001 by husband and wife team Chris and Diane Johnson, The Rubbish Removers provide both commercial and domestic waste removal services.
Traditionally the firm has operated throughout the Greater Manchester area, but during the last two years demand has seen the firm expand, offering its services throughout the North and Midlands.
This expansion has seen the company achieve growth levels of 50 per cent during this time.
Chris said: “Demand for our services has really increased during the last two years and as a result we had outgrown our existing premises. As soon as we saw the new unit we knew that it would be perfect for us but as it was being sold at auction we needed to get funding in place very quickly.
“Joe Riley and his team at Royal Bank of Scotland did just that, and their support throughout the process has been brilliant. The new unit is perfect and will continue to meet our needs for the foreseeable future as we continue to focus on geographical expansion.”
