Regreening strategies as a contribution to forest landscape restoration

“Regreening” is a land management practice that empowers farmers to protect regenerating trees and shrubs on their farms to improve soil fertility, increase food security and raise household income. The report highlights activities that contributed to the widespread adoption of regreening practices and land restoration in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, northern Ethiopia and Malawi.
