Bill Cosby And Wife Photographed Together For First Time In More Than A Year

What could she be smiling about?

Even after more than 50 women have come forward with allegations that Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them, the comedian's wife of more than 50 years, Camille Cosby is still very much by his side.

While Camille has been vocal in her support of her husband, it's been more than a year since the couple were last photographed together. The Cosbys were spotted leaving their New York City townhouse on Sunday, making it clear the two are still together.

Back in December 2014, Camille finally broke her silence on the allegations in a statement to CBS News, writing that her "kind," "generous" and "funny" husband is not the person the media has painted him as in light of the recent accusations.

She went on to compare the allegations against the actor to Rolling Stone's article detailing an alleged gang rape at a University of Virginia fraternity that was ultimately retracted by the magazine.

"The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved untrue," she wrote. "Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband -- until that story unwound."

Camille released this statement at a time when more than 20 women had come forward -- almost a year later, at least 30 more women have made claims of their own against the actor. In the year since her statement, it was also revealed that "The Cosby Show" star admitted to drugging women for sex in a 2005 deposition. At the time, a source told People magazine that the allegations and his admission had very little effect on the state of their marriage.
