The choices aren't appealing.

Turning to the LGBT community for help we find this.

I want Gove to win because he is such a slimebag he will lose the next election. He is easy to hate.

May is a blithering idiot who has f@cked up every department she has worked in. She is utterly useless and would be sacked if she had a real job in the real world outside Westminster.

Liam Fox is a closet gay whose own self loathing has made him very dangerous to the LGBT community. He seems crazy.

Crabb is mentally weak and controlled by his religion. That's dangerous to our whole country.

The other woman is wishy washy and doesn't have the balls to actually commit to anything.

I'm putting my money on Theresa May.

While “some politicians seek high office because they’re driven by ideological fervor [and] others seek it for reasons of ambition or glory,” she said, “My reasons are much simpler: I grew up the daughter of a local vicar, and the granddaughter of a regimental sergeant major. Public service has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember.” May said that while she may not be a “showy” politician, “I just get on with the job in front of me.” Her strongest pitch is that she’s experienced, down-to-earth, and uncontroversial—which is what the country needs right now. “If ever there was a time for a prime minister who is ready and able to do the job from Day 1, this is it,” she said.

. . .

. . . “you'll hear a lot more from Mrs May about how she, the state-school-educated girl from Sussex, can unify divided Britain.”

www.slate.com...

She'll be dealing with China.

. . . President Xi of China made a triumphant state visit to London last October, where he sealed a total strategic alliance with the United Kingdom which is the actual basis for Brexit
tarpley.net...

Home Secretary Theresa May said: “The number of Chinese visitors coming to the UK continues to soar.

“We already offer an excellent visa service in China and have made a number of changes to create a quicker and easier process for customers.

Violent protests may be required to produce a viable candidate for the position.

Anyone have a gun ... other than the terrorists? LOL

Theresa May has played a key role in the war against the Office of Constable. The intention is to turn us all totally against our own constables so drastic security measures can be taken. She wants violent protest to get her teeth into.

If it doesn't get us a viable candidate at least we'll get trainers and flat screen TVs.

Seriously, violence isn't going to do anything except tighten the bankers control. We've got to think our way out of this one.

Well, I would not trust Gove to hold my coffee while I did up my shoelaces.

I would go for May. I know she stirs negative emotions from many on ATS, but she'll cut through the male dominated offialdom at the top of the EU. She is also probably listening to all their telephone calls and reading their emails, courtesy of GCHQ, although she'll never admit it!

I despise Gove, but for the purposes of negotiating our exit, he's my number 1.

He's finished though and I favour Leadsom as a Brexiteer.

May is a remainer, pro echr and pro sharia, a thick, vain woman who will wreck this country.

Gove threw over Boris for the sake of his own ambition (or his wife's ambition).
It does not look as though he will get anything out of it. Nor is he likely to be anyone's trusted associate in the future. Something of a political own goal.

Maybe a coalition of junior doctors could handle the to government better than the Labour Party. People who have done hard work and care about people. They have been a thorn in the governments side all year and have public support

Totally agree with that.

Though I don't think Boris ever intended to take the helm at this time.
The tory party is massively divided as is the nation. Whoever leads next will get mired in all the bad feeling and end up being replaced. I think that is the moment Boris is waiting for. He acts the fool, but certainly isn't one.

I think if Corbyn can hang on for the Chilcott report to come out he'll be safe as I expect it to firmly nail the Blairite faction.

Me neither, but after Blair and Brown he is at least a step back in the right direction for Labour.

I agree, he's toxic now, Probably the cleverest and most intransigent of the bunch, but I don't think he has a chance cos of the back stabber thing.

Same policies, different face.

Same Sh*t, different day.

Now having a modern day Guy Forkes with a mini-nuke up his sleeve on November 5th 2016, would be a stroke of good luck for the UK peasants.

What a stupid comment..

I expect Mrs May will be the next UK Prime Minister and she will do the best for the country and not for the -1% of racists who are trying to hijack this pickled situation we find ourselves in.. A bonus is some of that -1% are showing themselves above the parapet and they will be taken out by the 99% of good peoples who live here, all included..

According to this source our banker financed colour revolution is being prepared now.

. . . the mobilisation of crowds of angry and clearly violence-prone protesters in London and other key cities.
www.thetruthseeker.co.uk...

Violence will do nothing but tighten the bankers control.

If it says, "The argument of the broken pane of glass is the most valuable argument in modern politics", it's a spook or a fool.

To negotiate with any passion you would need a Brexiteer, so that puts May

out of the race?

Andrea Leadsome who proved her Brexiteer credentials during the referendum

was eloquent and dignified, and coming up from a back position, doesn't appear

to have any baggage has the right criteria for the position.

We need someone who will not antagonize the EU we still need to be working so we will not be stonewalled in any way..
I can see May with a big majority but I do also like Andrea Leadome and she could lead the negotiating team or even be a deputy Prime Minister..

This is a podcast on twitter with Andrea talking about her standing for PM.

Odds Mr Gove has moved from second in the betting..
