If you’re lucky enough to snag a seat at the 404 Kitchen, in Nashville, you’d do well to request the Stregarita. This off-the-menu cocktail is a staff favorite from bartender Galen Johnson, who created it around Strega, an Italian digestif liqueur made from more than 60 herbs. It’s just as refreshing as a classic margarita, and it’s a drink you can (over)indulge in without leaving your palate overwhelmed. (the404nashville.com)
The Stregarita
2 ounces Liquore Strega
3 lime wedges
½ ounce lemon simple syrup
Add all ingredients to the shaker, and shake very hard with ice. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice, and garnish with a lime wheel.
