Sinead O’Connor‘s public feud with her family continued Monday (Nov. 30) with a new Facebook status that finds the Irish singer-songwriter cutting ties with many members of her family.
This latest post comes one day after O’Connor shared a status talking about taking an overdose in a Dublin hotel room that many took as a potential suicide note. O’Connor was eventually located and received medical assistance, with a source close to the situation telling Billboard she was “safe.” Dublin police declined to comment.
Sinead O’Connor ‘Safe’ After Alleged Overdose, Says Source
With her alarming Facebook status from Sunday (Nov. 29) pinned to the top of her Facebook page, O’Connor continued her rant against her family in a new status posted Monday afternoon (Dublin time) that has since been edited.
The new post reveals that O’Connor lost consciousness at some point yesterday and woke up in a hospital. She calls her family “hypocrites” for coming to see her in the hospital but leaving before she regained consciousness, and refusing to take her phone calls since then. Among those she targets by name are two of her four children, Jake and Roisin, as well as Donal Lunny, the father of her son Shane, the teenage child she previously insisted is in need of psychological assistance. She also blasts “Frank,” possibly in reference to Frank Bonadio, the father of her child Yeshua.

“I never wanna see you again. You stole my sons from me. Then you had hypocrisy to come to hospital and then not be here when I wake and not pick up phone? I’m shit to you. You’re dead to me. You killed your mother. You stole my sons. You left me alone for twelve weeks! Why did I have to hear it was your hypocritical asses here while I was unconscious?? And now you’re Gone and not picking up phone?” O’Connor wrote. “You are child stealing murderers, I never want to see or hear from any of you again.”
