Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is embarking on a 19-city North American solo tour “Steven Tyler … Out On a Limb,” kicking off July 2 in Las Vegas. Closer to home, the tour makes an Aug. 13 stop at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State.
Booked as “series of intimate venues” road show, the singer will backed by his new Nashville-based band, Loving Mary, in an up-close-and-personal evening of song and anecdotes. The concert event on which the tour is based made its sold-out premiere at New York’s Lincoln Center on May 2.
Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. May 13 at livenation.com.
