Game of Thrones Finale: Who Will Die?

Is Margaery in trouble? Vote now!

All our favorite characters may have survived Game of Thrones' Battle of the Bastards, but that doesn't mean they're safe for the season.

Cersei (Lena Headey) still has to face her trial. The Starks and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) must face their futures now that they've reclaimed their kingdoms. Davos (Liam Cunningham) will finally confront Melisandre (Carice van Houten). And, oh yeah, there's always the Night's King to deal with.

So who won't survive the finale? We break down the characters most likely to bite the bullet below.

The High Sparrow: The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) has been a great villain, but we're ready to see him go. And now that Cersei has chosen violence, we're betting he isn't long for this world. If Cersei decides to ignite the wildfire under King's Landing, her main target would be the High Sparrow, so don't be surprised if he -- and his Faith Militant followers -- die a fiery death in Sunday's episode.

Loras Tyrell: Seeing as Loras (Finn Jones) is being put on trial in the finale, he won't be too far from the High Sparrow. That means if the Sept goes up in flames, poor Loras' life is likely over too.

Melisandre: The Red Priestess has done a lot of bad sh-- over the years (RIP Renly. RIP Shireen), so we can't say Melisandre doesn't have it coming. And now that Davos knows about her sacrificing Shireen, he's probably out for blood and looking to Jon (Kit Harington) for make it right. But as Ned Stark (Sean Bean) always said, the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. Would Jon really have it in him to kill the woman who brought him back from the dead?

Tommen Baratheon: To be honest, we're shocked Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) has made it this far. His death was prophesied in Season 5 when Maggy the Frog told Cersei she would live to see the deaths of all three of her children. To make matters worse, many fans suspect Cersei will actually be the one to kill Tommen herself. If she sets off the wildfire, there's a good chance the flames could grow out of control and accidentally slay the king.

Margaery Tyrell: If Cersei's fire kills Tommen, the High Sparrow and Loras, Margaery (Natalie Dormer) is put in a very interesting position. There's no known heir to the Iron Throne, which could have huge effects on her political standing. But with the High Sparrow dead and Cersei likely gone to find Jaime after Tommen's death, Margaery would also have no one in her way to stop her from enacting whatever schemes she desired.

But fun as it would be to see Margaery trying to figure out her next steps, there is always the chance she might die in the wildfire as well. Especially since Margaery's not likely not miss her brother's trial, which would place her in the line of fire -- quite literally.

Game of Thrones finale: Will Lady Stoneheart finally appear?

Meera or Benjen: Being Bran's (Isaac Hempstead Wright) friend has become a very dangerous decision. Jojen (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Hodor (Kristian Nairn) and the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow) all died in the name of protecting Bran, so we wouldn't be shocked if Meera (Ellie Kendrick) or Benjen (Joseph Mawle) sacrificed themselves next.

Littlefinger: Now that Sansa's (Sophie Turner) gotten what she wanted from Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), what's to stop her from getting revenge on him? Petyr was the one who abandoned Sansa to Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) in the first place, and the potential Queen in the North made her anger at Littlefinger quite clear earlier this season. We wouldn't be too surprised if the hounds had another meal coming their way soon.

Walder Frey: Walder Frey (David Bradley) has got to go, and who better to kill him than Arya (Maisie Williams)? We know Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) dines with the Frey patriarch in the finale, so maybe Arya uses her Faceless Men skills to infiltrate the meal in disguise. Then she could go straight Red Wedding on Walder and start checking names off her list!

The Game of Thrones finale airs Sunday at 9/8c on HBO.
