If you want to know how good this jacket is, know that is the ‘most funded clothing project in the history of crowdfunding.’
Baubax, the Chicago company behind the deceptively unassuming jacket, wanted to raise $20,000 (just under £13,000). They’ve already raised $2,652,263 (that’s over £1.7m) with 38 days to go.
It is the world’s best jacket. Except it’s also a hoody.
It actually comes in four styles: sweatshirt, windbreaker, bomber and blazer. And it’s for men and women.
It has a LOT of pockets: an iPad pocket, hand-warming pockets, a pocket that stops your headphones having sex in your pocket, a phone pocket, a pen pocket, a passport pocket, a blanket pocket, a pocket where you can charge your phone, a pocket to keep your drink warm, or cold, a pocket that stops your sunglasses getting crushed, a pocket where you can microwave your lunch (okay, the last one was a joke. Maybe).
It also acts as a neck pillow, an eye mask, and it has built-in gloves.
It comes in a choice of six colours.
You can wear it to work, to travel in, to exercise in, or just to hang out in.
Pretty much all the early bird price points have gone (because, um, did you not read that first bit?). But you can still get yours for a November (i.e. in time for Christmas) delivery date, for $109 (£70) here.
They ship anywhere in the world. Of course. The jacket will probably get on a plane and deliver itself (this may or may not be true).
