China Keeping Gambling & Casinos Down While the Chinese People Are Most Avid Gamblers in the World

China is indeed headed toward being a world financial power, among other things. However, whether for religious reasons - doubtful, with their martial state - or other inexplicable reasons from beyond, China is adamant about keeping a lid on all casino gambling except in Macau. This is contrary to the Asian persona, especially the Chinese and Taiwanese, who as children gamble for their birthday presents!
