If you miss the Rob Lowe DirecTV commercials you’re in luck.
No, the famous actor is not reprising his role, but rather Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
The two-time Super Bowl champion appears in DirecTV’s promo for the NFL’s Sunday Ticket package as “Bad Comedian Eli Manning,” which follows the same format as the popular Rob Lowe commercials.

Manning is a recurring spokesman for DirecTV, appearing in previous Sunday Ticket promos alongside his older brother Peyton as police officers in “Football Cops” and then as rappers in the memorable “Football on Your Phone” song.
This time Eli, who has shown his comedic talent as a host on “Saturday Night Live,” appears balding and overweight as “Bad Comedian Eli Manning.”
His poor jokes include how his cable HD stands for “huge disappointment” and asks an audience if they want to see a picture of his mother-in-law.
“Niether do I,” he says.
Pretty decent job for a “bad comedian.”
