Here's the catchiest YouTube ads in the PHL so far this year


We usually skip ads whenever we watch videos on YouTube. But sometimes there are really good ads that manage to capture our attention and make us watch them until the end.
 
YouTube recently released a list of the top 10 ads for the first half of 2015 in the Philippines. The ads are a mix of both local and global brands, with majority of them being made specifically for the digital format. Unsurprisingly, the ridiculously catchy Ariel jingle managed to make its way into the top 10.

YouTube in the Philippines
 
In the Philippines, time spent watching videos on YouTube has grown 60% from last year, faster than the global average, with 40% of that watchtime happening on mobile devices. And Filipinos don’t just like watching videos—compared to last year, Filipinos have increased the number of hours of their uploaded content by 20%.
 
According to Gautam Anand, Director of YouTube Partnerships & Operations in the Asia Pacific, top YouTube channels in the country are a “healthy” mix of both local and international channels.
