Trainer: Ronda Rousey will damage Miesha Tate's career in trilogy fight, 'Cupcake' guarantees victory

And Edmond Tarverdyan is going to see to it that "Rowdy" puts on a memorable beating on "Cupcake" this time around.

Miesha Tate earned herself a third title fight against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's Bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, after outscoring Jessica Eye at UFC on FOX 16 last weekend (Sat., July 25, 2015) in Chicago Illinois (see it).

That's might not necessarily be a good thing for "Cupcake," regardless of how much she loves punching the former Olympian in the face.

That's according to Edmond Tarverdyan, Rousey's trainer, who recently declared (via The MMA Hour) that he is actually looking forward to a trilogy bout against Tate because this time, he is going to make sure Rousey punishes her bitter rival to the point that it will hurt not only her face, but her career, too.

His strong words:

"The thing is, Ronda took her Strikeforce title from her. Ronda beat her once in the UFC. So, basically she's getting her second shot at Ronda in UFC. Which a lot of fighters get two title fights and she's been winning her last four fights. She's been doing a bit better it seems like, for her. But, it's cool. I like that fight, I am real excited for that fight actually because this time I am going to make sure Miesha gets really punished. She doesn't know what she's getting into, it's not going to be good for her career. This one is going to hurt for sure. She is going to get a lot of damage and it will not be healthy for her career, and you are going to see that."

As far as Tate's improved punching power and fitness level, Edmond isn't buying it, claiming he didn't exactly see anything special during her fight with Eye, going as far as say he sees everything Tate is doing.

That's the reason the confident trainer doesn't hold back when reiterating that Tate isn't going to know what hit her should there be a trilogy fight. Because unlike "Cupcake," Rousey has shown without a doubt that she ups her game every single fight.

Nonetheless, Tate "guaranteed" a different result shortly after Rousey scorched Bethe Correia last night in the main event of UFC 190, which took place inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

There is no date and/or time for "Rousey vs. Tate 3" at this time, however, company president Dana White hinted at UFC 190's post-fight press conference that he is targeting a showdown sometime in December, possibly inside Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas, along with Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor.
