Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight Paige VanZant finished in second place on the season 22 finale of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), which aired live last night (Tues., May 24, 2016) on ABC (watch part one here).
Even with a perfect score of 30 for her final number, a jive and salsa hybrid alongside partner Mark Ballas set to "Little Bitty Pretty One" by Thurston Harris, "12 Gauge" lost by way of popular vote to the team of Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd.

Gracious in defeat.
While it's unfortunate VanZant did not win DWTS, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans have not seen the last of the 115-pound phenom, who is expected to return to the Octagon later this year. An opponent has yet to be determined; however, plenty of names on this list jump out.
